UPCOMING EVENTS: 14 - 23 SEPTEMBER, 2012

FRIDAY, 14 SEPTEMBER 2012

9.00 On Friday, the minister for Slovenians Abroad, Ljudmila Novak will visit the town of Sele in Carinthia, Austria. During her visit she will become acquainted with the work of the local and municipal authorities and with the work of the Slovenian societies in the area.

 

18.00 Matjaž Longar the State Secretary in the Government Office for Slovenians Abroad will attend the round table entitled “Who cares about how Slovenians live outside our borders?” The round table will be organized by radio Ognjišče from Slovenia.

 

SATURDAY, 15 SEPTEMBER 2012

Matjaž Longar, the State Secretary will attend the great annual meeting of Slovenians living in Hungary. The event will take place in Števanovci in Prekmurje, Slovenia.

 

SUNDAY, 16 SEPTEMBER 2012

18.00 The minister Ljudmila Novak will hold the speech at the ceremony of the municipal holiday of the Municipality of Logatec and their 30 years’ celebration of twinning with the Municipality of Repentabor from Italy.

MONDAY and TUESDAY, 17-18 SEPTEMBER 2012

The minister Ljudmila Novak will visit the Slovenians in Veneto in Italy. During her visit she will meet the representatives of Slovenian organizations, talk to the cultural workers and also to the local representatives.

 

WEDNESDAY, 19 SEPTEMBER 2012

During the Minister’s visit to the Koroška region, the minister Ljudmila Novak will attend a working visit with the representatives of the Slovenian organizations from the neighbouring country of Austria. The theme of the event will be the cross-border cooperation with the minority organizations. She will also visit the Koroška gallery, the Koroška regional museum and the Wolfova house.

THURSDAY, 20 SEPTEMBER 2012

20.00 The minister Ljudmila Novak will attend the celebration named “Prišel je pevec slovenske dežele…” (“The singer from Slovenia is here…”). The event which is organized as a part of the Social Week 2012 named “Who gives, who takes?” will take place in Trieste, Italy. The event is organized by the Social academy and the Municipality of Sveti Križ, Trieste, Italy.

17.00 Ljudmila Novak, the minister for Slovenians abroad will attend the round table on radio Ognjišče on the theme “Is the homeland a true stepmother to the Slovenians living in the neighbouring countries and abroad?”

SUNDAY, 23 SEPTEMBER 2012

Minister Ljudmila Novak will visit Slovenian compatriots who will gather on the annual pilgrimage in Einsiedeln in Germany.
